QuickSwap layout switch

If you're used to Xbox A/B on PC, Switch games keep making you press cancel instead of confirm. Specter fixes this with hardware: lift the magnetic top cover, flip the switch, and the ABXY layout swaps between Xbox and Nintendo instantly, no app needed. It connects over USB-C, Bluetooth or a 2.4 GHz dongle.

Hall-effect sticks and two-stage triggers

The sticks are Hall-effect, rated for 5 million cycles. The triggers switch between long linear travel and a very short click: linear for the bow in Monster Hunter Wilds, short for Pokémon Pokopia or shooters. Turbo and macros on M1 / M2 save your thumb when farming materials in Pokopia.

Latency and the charging dock

Measured with Polling2: 1.0 ms wired and 1.0 ms with the 2.4 GHz dongle, with 1000 Hz wired polling. The optional Sbase dock holds the dongle and charges the controller when you set it down; rated battery life is 30 hours. It weighs about 270 g with the dongle.
